A Tapestry of Faith, Fellowship and Service
Faith
[img_assist|nid=2|title=Jesus_window|desc=|link=none|align=left|width=100|height=75]As worshipers of Christ, we believe in the grace of God, and that we are saved, not by anything we do, but simply by God’s love alone. We believe our salvation is through faith alone and trust, through Jesus Christ, that forgiveness is possible. Last, we believe that the Bible is the true standard for faith and life, and, as Christians, our mission is to live accordingly.
Fellowship
Holy Trinity members believe that by being connected, we are living testimonies to God’s love in our midst! As a caring, friendly congregation, we feel blessed that we are able to reach out to one another and find refuge through our relationships at church. Sharing a cup of coffee, gathering for pot luck dinners, or participating in Bible studies or outreach events are just a few of the ways our Holy Trinity family celebrates the joy of fellowship!
We have recently begun once-a-month “themes” in our fellowship hall that encourage everyone to eat some good food, join in some good conversation, and stay connected to the dynamic energy of the church and all its activities.
Of course, as with every church, our congregants feel special bonds with one another and deep, lasting relationships are formed. Children enjoy a unique opportunity to become friends with others of all ages and benefit from the support of our multi-generational members as we all gather together in Christ’s name!
Service
It has been said more than once that Holy Trinity can be compared to “the little engine that could!” As part of our mission, we actively seek ways to support each other and the community and know that by doing so, we fulfill God’s plan for us.
Sharing our time and talents in church groups such as choir, Sunday school, adult Sunday school, or the quilting group offer members unique opportunities to serve. Leadership roles such as church council members or committee members are also available and all are welcome to participate.
Our varied outreach programs throughout the year give all members - young and old - many opportunities to serve the Lord. Through energetic participation in varied programs such as Second Harvest Food Bank, Crop Walk, or the Salvation Army’s Angel Tree, we delight in service opportunities that improve conditions locally, nationally, and globally and believe, as stated in Acts 20:35 “It is more blessed to give than to receive.”
